An extruder is a machine that is used in the extrusion line for manufacturing different types of profiles. Extruders machines are applied for continuous forming of products. Basically an extruder takes a mass of material (profile) and then forces it via a die plate. This creates a proper form in the extruded product. The extruder typically has a mechanism that uses a single or counter rotating double screws. Another important component of the extruder is the barrel. It is the section where the screw generally processes the profile.
